6 Putting into operation
6.1 Installation
Select a location that allows a short and rectilinear wire feed.
6.2 Connecting the control leads
Connect the control leads using the following procedure:
DANGER
Risk of injury due to unexpected start-up.
For the entire duration of maintenance, servicing, dismounting and repair work, the following instructions
must be adhered to:
• Switch off the power supply.
• Disconnect the compressed air supply.
• Pull the mains plug.
DANGER
Risk of injury
Safety switches on covers and protective devices are ineffective in manual mode.
• High concentration.
WARNING
Danger of crushing
Limbs can be drawn in and crushed.
• Do not reach into moving wheels.
NOTE
• The wire feeding unit may only be put into operation by trained personnel.
