10.1 Maintenance intervals
The
BRS-LC
cleaning station is largely maintenance-free. However, it is necessary to regularly clean and evaluate the
mechanically stressed parts in order to maintain its value and to guarantee its full ability to function.
Check the following:

NOTICE
• The maintenance intervals given are standard values and refer to single-shift operation.
Weekly
Monthly
• Check the condition of the reamer.
• Clean the clamping unit.
• Clean the injection unit.
• Dismount the cover of the injection unit and the thrust
ring and check the rubber seal.

does not run
• Compressed-air supply / hose connection
interrupted
• Check all supply lines leading to the cylinder and the
screwings
• Motor defective; replace
• Directional valves Y1 or Y2 do not switch
• Check signal output of robot control
• Valve actuator does not move
• Replace directional valve
Insufficient cleaning
• reamer defective or blunt
• Replace reamer
Torch parts are damaged
• Wrong or unsuitable equipment parts
• Install a reamer and clamping prism that match the
gas nozzle
• Check the gas nozzle for deformations
• Check immersion depth of torch
