Industrial Tracker Reference Guide FW 1.8 V0.2
4.2.2
Positon on Demand
The tracker positon can be requested via LoRa dotnlink message.
In this case, the
geoloc_method
strategy is used.
Note
This acton has precedence over the operatonal mode. So, if a positon acquisiton is already on
progress, the operaton is stopped, and the demand is serviced.
4.2.3
Periodic actvity reportng
The tracker can report periodically its actvity (moton detecton). The reportng frequency is
controlled by the parameter
periodic_actiiitt_period.
When this parameter is set to 0, this feature is
disabled.
The associated LoRa uplink message till contain the history of the actvity split in sixitme tindots
equals to 1/6 of the confgured period (
periodic_actiiitt_period
).
4.3 SOS mode
This capability forces the device in a specifc tracking mode tagged as SOS.This can be used to
recover a stolen or lost asset.
Once this feature is actvated, the behavior is the folloting:
The tracker sends contnuously its positon at a fxed period of 120 s.
The tracker uses the geolocaton strategy:
geoloc_sensor, with a
GPS tmeout fxed to 120
seconds.
The LoRa positon messages are tagged tith an alert lag. (see
detail)
The tracker can enter this mode by receiving a
SOS start
LoRa dotnlink.
This mode is disabled by a
SOS stop
LoRa dotnlink.
for more details on the positon messages scheduling.
4.4 Moton detecton
4.4.1
Overview
The tracker embeds a three axes accelerometer, thich detects acceleratons and triggers a moton
event. It is confgurable tith tto parameters:
motion_sensitiiitt:
Allots a fne tuning of the acceleraton intensity to trigger a moton
event.
motion_duration
: Defnes the delay needed tithout any moton detecton to generate a
moton end
event.
The accelerometer is altays actve
4.4.2
Moton sensitvity
The accelerometer sensitvity can be fneituned by confguraton via the parameter
motion_sensitiiitt
as follot:
The zero value is used for the default sensitvity:
