Do not mount the camera directly under the primary axis. (The
weight of the motor for tilt function imbalances the symmetry of
the system).
Mount the camera slightly to the side of the primary axis to rees-
tablish the symmetry of weight.
The consequences of asymmetry can be felt especially when
using lighter cranes particularly during fast camera movements.
Example A (O.K.)
The middle of the camera sits on the
side of the primary axis (towards the
supporting bracket).
Example B (NOT O.K.)
The camera sits too close to the mo-
tor for tilt function; thus, it contributes
to the asymmetry and possibly causes
warping. Might also result in a sloped
horizon.
