Note.
The Alarm Configuration tabs are displayed only if 'Source ID' for the Recording Channel is set to an analog signal source
Set the alarm type:
High/Low process
High/Low latch
High/Low annunciate
Fast/Slow rate
Delayed high/low process – see Fig. 4.16, page 80
Enter an Alarm Tag to identify the alarm when it is displayed in
the Chart, Process and Alarm Event views (20 characters max.).
Note.
Process and Latch alarms only – see Figs 4.12 and 4.13.
Set the value, in engineering units, at which the alarm is to
activate.
Set the hysteresis value in engineering units and the time
hysteresis in seconds.
When an alarm trip value is exceeded, the alarm does not
become active until the time hysteresis value has expired. If the
signal goes out of the alarm condition before the time hysteresis
has expired, the hysteresis value is reset.
