Setting up the PC or workstation for point-to-point access to IEDs

An ethernet cable (max 2 m length) with RJ-45 connectors is needed to connect
two physical Ethernet interfaces together without a hub, router, bridge or switch in
between.
If an IED is equipped with optical LC interface, a converter
between RJ-45 and LC is needed.
