6.3.
Indication messages
Indication messages (priorities 1-3) automatically give an overview of protection
and condition monitoring operations and internal relay faults. The indications are
shown in a priority order in the assisting window and will remain active until
acknowledged by pressing [C] for two seconds.
When an indication message is displayed in the assisting window, no help
messages are displayed until the window has been cleared.
6.3.1.
Protection indications
When one of the protection functions of the terminal starts, the name of the
corresponding protection function block and the text “:START” are displayed in the
assisting window and the yellow LED indicator is lit. In the case of three-phase and
two-phase protection functions, the faulted phases are also displayed.

When the started protection function is blocked, the name of the corresponding
function block and the text “:BLOCK” are displayed in the assisting window and the
yellow LED indicator is flashing.

When the protection function trips, the name of the function block and the text
“:TRIP” are displayed in the assisting window and the red LED indicator is lit. In
the case of three-phase and two-phase protection functions, the faulted phases are
also displayed.

When the protection function has tripped but the fault has not disappeared, the
protection function delivers a delayed trip signal for CBFP, circuit-breaker failure
protection. CBFP is indicated by the red, flashing LED indicator. The name of the
tripped function block and the text “:TRIP” also remain in the assisting window.
