Chapter 5. Connecting the IRC5 and IPC

Forge/‍O must communicate with the ABB controller. In this section, you connect the IPC  and robot controller using a 
Cat5e OTP Ethernet cable.

1. Find a Cat5e OTP Ethernet cable long enough to reach from the IPC  to the ABB controller.
2. Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into a LAN port on the IPC  and the other end into port 

X6 (WAN) 

 on the IRC5.
