Functionality 5.2.
The circuit breaker condition monitoring function SSCBR is used to monitor different
parameters of the circuit breaker. The breaker requires maintenance when the number
of operations has reached a predefined value. The energy is calculated from the measured
input currents as a sum of I
y t values. Alarms are generated when the calculated values
exceed the threshold settings.
The function contains a blocking functionality. It is possible to block the function outputs,
if desired.
Operation Principle 5.3.
The circuit breaker condition monitoring function includes different metering and mon-
itoring sub-functions. The functions can be enabled and by blocking signal in application.
The operation of the functions can be described with a module diagram. All the modules
in the diagram are explained in the next sections.
