Product quality and environmental
protection
ABB products are manufactured to meet or exceed
standards of compliance for quality and
environmental management systems in accordance
with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. All items can be
supplied with a certificate of quality upon request.
End of product life
ABB is committed to complying with all legal and
other relevant requirements for environmental
protection in accordance with ISO 14001 standards.
It is the responsibility of the product owner to
facilitate the subsequent recycling and/or disposal
of the product at the end of the product’s life.
During disposal of the product, it is always
necessary to act in accordance with all local and
national legal requirements that are in effect at
the time of disposal.
Methods of disposal
Disposal of the product can be carried out in a
number of different ways depending upon the
materials contained within the product. The
following table is the recommended method of
disposal for the various materials that may be
encountered during disposal of ABB products.
