Slip the connector nut over
the connector body and screw
on to the oxygen sensor firmly.
Insert the complete assembly into
the flowcell ensuring that the O-
ring is in place.
Remove the top from the oxygen sensor
container.
Unscrew the protective cap from the rear of the
oxygen sensor
Use the clamping screw to secure the
assembly. Screw in firmly using finger
pressure only.
Slide the thrust washer over
the connector body.
Place an O-ring (provided) as shown and
locate the connector body
on the oxygen sensor.

4.1
Fitting the Dissolved Oxygen Sensor – Fig. 4.1
Caution.
• Only install the oxygen sensor immediately prior to use, otherwise leave it
stored in its protective container. The sensor has a limited shelf life and should
NOT be stored longer than about 6 months. Store under cool conditions.
• Take special care to line up the two pins in the oxygen sensor with their
respective sockets before making the connection and tightening.
• Take care not to damage the delicate membrane on the end of the oxygen
sensor.
• Ensure that the mating surfaces (carrying the electrical connection) of the
oxygen sensor and connector body are clean and
completely
dry.
Caution.
Do not overtighten the clamping screw.
