
Turn off the device
When you turn off the max-e the air in the pneumatic cylinder escapes by it-
self and the motor shafts run in. At this point your wheelchair is ready to dri-
ve manually once more
.
Overload
If the max-e does not remain within the diagram concerning weight and
climbing capacity (see page 6), the max-e is overloaded. After 2 seconds
the electro-magnetic brakes are activated and the device stops. You hear a
signal tone, and the screen shows “overload”. After another 3 seconds the
display goes back to the main screen
.
In such case, let go of the joystick and wait until the main screen appears on
the display again. Then you may continue driving taking into consideration
the cause of the overload, e.g. remove blockage, turn around, if the gradient
is too steep, etc
.
