8.3 Operating on a slope
WARNING - For safety reasons we recommend that you ask another person for assistance
when driving on a slope!

NOTE - Please observe the safety instructions in Chapter 7!
Make sure the handles are
adjusted appropriately.
Tilt the c-max U1 slightly.
» If necessary, use the manu-
facturer tip from Chapter 8.2.
Climbers have to be retracted
entirely.
Drive forward to the edge of
a slope.
To slow down, you need to tilt
the c-max a bit more, so that the
safety brakes are activated.
Please drive backwards up a
slope.
Drive downhill
Drive uphill
To slow down, you need to tilt
the c-max a bit more, so that the
safety brakes are activated.
