Activating this function prevents your telephone number from being displayed on
the terminal of the internal or external party for a single call. This procedure is not
necessary:
■
if the “Suppress phone number display permanently” function is set for your
user group or
■
if CLIR is activated for your number in the OpenCom 100 telephone book.
On ISDN telephones you can also activate the calling line identification restriction
function on a call-by-call basis by means of a menu.

When your system is first commissioned, the user PIN is “0000”. Code-number pro-
cedures requiring a PIN should be unavailable to other users.
For this reason, you should change the PIN when you start operating your tele-
phone, and put the new number in a safe place. The user PIN can be up to six char-
acters long.
Please note:
Make sure you do not lose your new PIN. Contact your sys-
tem administrator if you experience any problems.
You
cannot
change your user PIN on a SIP terminal with the code-number pro-
cedure described here. You can do so, however, in the
Configurator
of the
OpenCom 100. To do so, the system administrator has to authorise you to change
