Dialing Using the Handsfree Speakerphone
The handsfree feature allows you to speak to someone without using the handset
or headset. Your phone must be in either the Speaker or Speaker/Headset audio
mode to use this feature. See
“Setting the Headset Microphone Volume”
on
page 2-75
for instructions.
To dial using handsfree, first press
and enter a number at the dial tone.
Press
to disconnect the call.
To switch between handsfree and handset/headset mode, do one of the following
actions:
•
If in speaker audio mode, press
to switch between handsfree and
handset.
•
If in speaker/headset audio mode, press
to switch between handsfree
and headset.
Dialing Using a Headset
The audio mode on your IP phone must be set to Headset, Speaker/Headset, or
Headset/Speaker to use this option. See
“Setting the Headset Microphone
Volume”
on
page 2-75
for more information.

Plug the headset into the jack.

key to obtain a dial tone or to answer an incoming call. Depending on the audio
mode selected from the Options menu, a dial tone or an incoming call will be received on either the
headset or the handsfree speakerphone.

Enter a number at the dial tone.

N
to end the call
