• Plug the unit into the correct electrical outlet
(110 VAC).
• Attach one end of the tubing (36 inches long) into the ozone outlet on the side of the Aqua-8
and attach a stone diffuser onto the other end of the tube or venturi application.
• Extend the tubing so that the application process and the Aqua-8 Portable Ozone Generator
are as far apart as possible.
• Push in the power button located on top of the unit to the ON position.
• The LED will indicate 01 (blinking) or the previous setting number.
• Press the plus (+) button to select the desired function setting (see timer functions table, page
6) for the desired application time.
• The minus (-) button will step down the setting numbers sequentially.
• Operating times will vary.
• The Aqua-8 will start 10 seconds after you select the setting on the LED.
• Once the generator starts producing ozone, the LED changes to display the time remaining for
the setting you have chosen.
• Remember, settings 1 through 6 are one time run settings.
• Settings 7 through 12 continuously repeat the cycle every hour.
• Settings 13 through 18 continuously repeat the cycle every 4 hours.
• To pause a setting, simply press the pause button.
• The LED will hold the previously selected function and the time remaining until the pause
button is pressed again.
• Press plus (+) or minus (-) to select another function at any time.
• After the function is complete, ozone production will stop, but the air compressor will run for
5 seconds and then will automatically shut off.
• Please allow the air compressor to shut off and then unplug or cut power to the unit.
• This operation allows the ozone to purge out and will prolong the unit’s operating life span.
• The unit is now powered down and ready for storage or transport.
NOTE: This unit is not made for continuous operation. Do not intentionally run the unit without
a 15 minute pause between the runtimes.
