The host bits of the IP address assigned to the
DMP801 is “21” (a decimal value).

On the 8-PIN DIP switch, set the 3rd PIN to
ON

the 4th PIN to
OFF

Now the IP address of your DMP801 is
192.168.0.21.
The unit ID configuration mechanism of DMP801 is developed based on “Hexadecimal numeral system”. Therefore,
scientific calculator is required when setting the unit ID of the IP address for DMP801. Below is the procedure for setting
the unit ID:
1. Define the IP address for your DMP801.
2. Convert the decimal value of the host bits of the IP address to a Hexadecimal value. (Scientific calculator is
recommended)
3. Set the 8-PIN DIP switch according to the first digit of the converted Hexadecimal value.
4� Set the rotary switch according to the last digit of the converted Hexadecimal value�
Example:
The system administrator assigns a static IP address “192�168�0�21” to your DMP801�

The Hexadecimal value that equals to the decimal
value “21” is “15”�

Rotate the rotary switch to the position

ENABLE/DISABLE GAIN CONTROL KNOBS
You can enable or disable the Gain control knob on the front panel via switching the PIN 6 to
ON
or
OFF
�
Resume DMP801 to the Factory Default
DMP801 can be resume to the factory default via steps below:
1� Power on DMP801� 3� Switch the Power Switch to the position
“I”
(Stand By).
2� Switch the PIN 7 to
ON
�
4� Switch the PIN 7 to
OFF.
5� Now your DMP801 is resumed to the factory default�
