Firmly hold the micromanipulator in one hand and the pipette in the other. For pre-
cleaning, please rinse the upper and lower surfaces of the deflecting mirror with methanol.
Do not use soap or water.
Note: Under no circumstances must methanol enter the C-Pro body
Wipe clean:
The final cleaning is carried out as follows:
1. Place a lens cleaning tissue on the top of the mirror as shown in figure 21.

2. The cleaning tissue should overlap on the side facing the observer so that the
observer can hold the tissue with the tweezers without touching the mirror. On the
other side facing away from the observer, the tissue should also overhang so that
the observer can move the tissue back and forth over the mirror with long
movements.
3. Place a few drops of methanol in the place of the cloth, which rests directly on the
mirror. Grap the tissue on the side facing the observer and draw it over the mirror
with the moistened part of the tissue until the dry side is lying as shown in the
drawing.
