Overview
Touch Score 1 is a versatile ten pin bowling scoring system that can be installed in
a number of configurations.
•
As an upgrade to AMF Magicscore or Accuscore I systems
•
As a keypad based sys tem
•
As a Touch Screen based system
The heart of the system is A.K.Microsystems’ ALS board. This board contains the
scoring software, and the various interface circuits needed for the keypads, pin
sensing, front desk communications, etc.
In addition to the ALS board you will require various standard computer parts such
as motherboards, video cards and power supplies. Depending upon your specific
installation, you may also require a standard computer case, or custom mounting
hardware, a touch screen and a custom players’ console.
This manual describes the ALS board in detail, and how it is used in such a system.
For information on the other components in the system, refer to the manuals
supplied with those components.
All Touch Score systems require an A.K.Microsystems Lane Control System as a
front desk.
