GIGASYNC MANUAL
VER. 3 REV. 1
Synoptic diagram
The synoptic diagram illustrates the structure of the system including the modules installed in the GigaSync device, the
status of each element and some values of interest, easy to discern, such as:
Instantaneous input voltage y values of absorbed current of each cartridge
Power port active either in each cartridge or in the CMD (blue color)
Type of cartridge installed (CRT 1, 2 and 3)
Information about the synchronization source (GPS & SYNC)
The layout faithfully reflects the physical arrangement of the cartridges, so it is immediate to trace the exact component
as needed or in case of failure.
It also indicates the presence of the power supply and the sync source, depending on:
•
CMD module (base unit):
o
Blue circle: indicates power supply via redundant terminals
o
Blue square: indicates power supply via PoE
•
Cartridges (CRT 1, 2 and 3):
o
Blue circles: indicate power supply via redundant terminals
•
GPS & SYNC:
o
Blue circle: indicates synchronization source via external GPS
o
Blue square: indicates synchronization source via SYNC-IN port
In all cases, the gray color will indicate that it is inactive. In the event of a fault, the respective module will appear in red,
as shown below.
The main menu panel displays graphs of base unit voltage and temperature.
