Updating Software on a 3VR SmartRecorder

Update
to initiate the software update.
From the

Update Software
tab of SystemManager,
click the name of a SmartRecorder to highlight it in
orange.
When the upgrade is complete, the system name

and IP address, followed by
Done
, will be displayed
at the bottom of the window.
Close SystemManager.

Click

Browse
.
In the

Choose 3VR Update File
window, locate the
update file (ending in the extension .3pa) and click
OK
.
Click

Inspect
. Under the
Status
column, ensure that
you are logged in with the correct permissions:
OK

is displayed if the current user is authorized
to upgrade software on the selected server.
Unauthorized
•
will be displayed if the
current user is not authorized to upgrade
software on the selected server.
