Video inputs on the video input dongles are labeled VID1 - 4 or VID1 - 8. Each 8 channel dongle has two extra
connectors with black and white wires labeled AID 1 and AID 2.
Do not
connect cameras to connectors AID 1
and AID 2. Use the video input dongles to connect the analog camera feeds to 3VR SmartRecorder as follows:

If one location has multiple SmartRecorders, 3VR recommends that cameras be arranged
between systems based on their respective areas of coverage. For example, a location
with three systems might have outdoor cameras on one unit, indoor cameras in public
areas connected to the second, and employees-only areas on the third system.
