USE AS LADDER BELT

The EZ-Scape Pro Self-Rescue Accessory may be used with a Multi-Use Ladder 

Strap (P/N 31003385) as a ladder belt to position the user securely to a rung 

on a ladder while doing work that requires one or both hands.

1.  Select a rung located above the 

waist but below the shoulders. Feed 

the multi-use strap first UNDER 

and then back OVER the select-

ed ladder rung. 

See FIGURE 18

.  

DO NOT WRAP THE STRAP  

MULTIPLE TIMES AROUND THE 

LADDER RUNG.

2.  Attach the snap buckle to the D-Ring on the waist belt OR to the round ring on the 

multi-use strap.

. DO NOT ATTACH THE BUCKLE TO ANYTHING 

ELSE.

3.  To shorten the length of the Strap, pull the Strap through the adjuster. 

See FIGURE

 To lengthen the strap, lift up on the adjuster and pull the excess strap back 

through the adjuster.

4.  To terminate use of the multi-use strap as a ladder belt, release the buckle snap to 

unhook the buckle from the ring on the strap and pull the strap back through the 

ladder. For safety, reattach the snap buckle to the ring until the multi-use strap can 

be properly stored.

5.  Use the EZ-Scape Pro Self-Rescue Accessory multi-use strap as a ladder belt 

ONLY in accordance with your training and the requirements of your respiratory  

protection program. Improper use of this equipment may result in serious injury or 

death.
