Adjusting the collapsible headband

Open the headband.

Tilt the top of the shell out, as the wire must be placed on the outside of the
headband. Slide out the shells and place the hearing protectors over your ears so the
ear cushions enclose the ears completely and fit snugly against the head.

Adjust the height of the shells for a comfortable fit while holding the headband
flat against your head.

Collapsing the collapsible headband

Press the shells in all the way.

Collapse the headband. Check that the ear cushions are not creased and that
they lie flat against one another.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE (D)
Switching On and Off
Press the centre/mode button and hold for at least 2 seconds.
Choose Function
Press the centre/ mode button once to go forward in the menu. Press the centre/mode
button twice to go backwards in the menu.
Increase/Decrease the volume of the level dependent function
Press the upper (+) button to increase. Press the lower (-) button to decrease.
Adjusting the balance
Press the mode button until the ghost voice says balance. Adjust the balance, to the
right or to left, by using the (+) button and (-) button. Press the (+) button and (-)
button at the same time to reach centre balance.
Equalizer
Press the mode button until ghost voice says equalizer. Use the (+) button and (-) button
to adjust the equalizer. Availiable settings are: Low, Neutral, High and Extra High.
Adjusting the release time of the level dependent function
Press the mode button until the ghost voice says release time. Adjust the release
time by using the (+) button and (-) button. Availiable settings are: Normal, Slow and
Extra Slow.
Adjusting the volume for external input
Press the mode button until the ghost voice says external input. Adjust the volume by
using the (+) button and (-) button. Availiable settings are: normal and high.
WARNING - At setting high the volume may exceed 82 dB.
NOTE - The setting of high volume for external input is not stored when the headset
is switched off.
Adjusting external input mode -07, -77 (headsets only)
Press the mode button until the ghost voice says external input mode. Change external
input mode by using the (+) button and (-) button. Available settings are: 1, 2 and 3.
Setting 1 is optimal for professional communication radios. Setting 3 is optimal for
devices such as DECT- and mobile phones. Try different modes until you find the
optimal for your communication device.
