4.0 EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
4.1 RETURN HOME/RETURN TO LAUNCH (RTL)
At any time during a flight, if the
Return Home
button is pushed on the ST10C, the aircraft will ascend to the
altitude set in the mission for RTL and then return to the launch location.
4.2 BATTERY FAILSAFE
During low battery flight mode, the H520-G will attempt to RTL. In some cases, the H520-G might be too
far from the launch site to return. During low battery flight mode, the pilot has limited lateral control and no
vertical control of the H520-G. Low battery flight mode is indicated by flashing red LEDs on the two rear
motor arms.

4.3 EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN
In the event of a flyaway or other emergencies, hold the left stick down and tap the
Arming
button 4 times.
4.4 5-MOTOR MODE
If one of the motors of the H520-G stops working, the aircraft will enter 5-motor mode. The aircraft will
continue to fly with decreased yaw authority. Yaw instability is expected. If the aircraft enters 5-motor mode
it should be landed as soon as possible.
4.5 EXIT AUTONOMOUS FLIGHT
There are a few ways to exit an autonomous flight:
•
Manually take-over while the aircraft is automatically following a predetermined flight plan
•
Cancel the mission from the Site Scan iOS App which will force the aircraft to RTL
•
Push the
RTL
button on the ST10C
