Have an assistant visually confirm that all four Peristalic Fluid Pumps
are operating correctly. If a pump does not spin, release the Control
Knob and check the electronic connections to the pump.
After a short while your assistant should report that fluids are starting to
pass through the pumps.
26. Click and hold the
ALL LINES
option to spin all Fluid Pumps which
will start advancing fluid from the tanks toward the Fast Axis.
Continue holding the Control Knob on the
ALL LINES
option while your
assistant observes the lines inside the IGUS Chain Assembly. Ask your
assistant to alert you once fluid starts through these lines.
NOTE: The correct order of colors is shown at right. The topmost
line is the air-supply for the Fast Axis so this line should never fill
with fluid. Also keep in mind that the clear fluid can be difficult to
see.

25. Please remove the four (4) Phillips Head screws from the top of the
Print head cover - remove cover.
IMPORTANT: Observe closely the vacuum line attached to the
Carriage Unit and imnmediately hit CANCEL if any fluid appears in
this line.

MANUAL ADVANCE
.
NOTE: DO NOT ADVANCE FLUIDS INTO PRINT HEAD AT THIS
TIME.
