4.4.5 Removing a PCR cassette from the main unit
Warning!
After removing PCR cassettes, make sure that cores are not clung to the port edges of
the cover plates. Before carefully removing the cover plate of a PCR cassette, gently
tap on it a couple of times to let all the samples fall entirely down to the bottom of
the PCR tubes.
4.5 Changing the Drill Bit and the Puncher
TMA Grand Master
is delivered with drill bits and punchers of different sizes. The following
instructions demonstrate how to change drill bits, punchers and pistons to match the hole diameter
of a defined layout.
1. Start the TMA Grand Master application, then click the
button at the main toolbar.

2. According to the appearing message on your screen, follow the steps to change the tools of
the same size both for the puncher and the drill bit.
