The INI File Structure
The INI file can contain any number of parameters. The parameters are divided into groups
by their functionality. The following example shows the general form of the INI file.

The INI File Structure Rules
ƒ Lines beginning with a semi-colon (;) as the first character are ignored.
ƒ Carriage return must be the final character of each line.
ƒ Number of spaces before and after = is not relevant.
ƒ If there is a syntax error in the parameter name, the value is ignored.
ƒ Syntax errors in the parameter value field can cause unexpected errors (because
parameters may be set to the wrong values).
ƒ Sub-section names are optional.
ƒ The values of file name strings should be placed between two inverted commas (‘…’).
For example CallProgressTonesFileName = ‘cpusa.dat’.
ƒ The parameter field is not case sensitive.
ƒ The INI file should be ended with one or more carriage returns.
ƒ The INI file name should not contain spaces.
