To use the BNC connector on the 3C589C-COMBO cable,
attach the BNC connector to the network cable, as shown
in Figure 2-6.

Once the PC Card is connected to the network, the
installation is complete. To configure the 3C589C PC Card, go
to Chapter 3 if you are on a Novell NetWare network. If you
are on any other network operating system, go to Chapter 4,
Installing the NDIS Driver
.
Removing the 3C589C PC Card
The PC Card can be removed whether the power to the PC is
ON or OFF. Follow these steps to remove the PC Card:

Disconnect the cables from the 3C589C PC Card.

Remove the PC Card from your PC.
Many PCs have a button or lever to assist in removing the PC
Card. Refer to the instructions provided in your PC manual.

Store the PC Card in its original or similar packaging.
This completes the procedure for removing the PC Card.
