Using the 3C589C-TP Cable to Connect to the Network
To connect the 3C589C PC Card to the network with the
3C589C-TP cable and RJ-45 connector, follow these steps:

Attach the supplied PC Card cable with the RJ-45
connector to the PC Card connector, as shown in
Figure 2-3.

Attach the RJ-45 connector on the other end of the PC
Card cable to the supplied network cable and then to the
network port, as shown in Figure 2-3.
Once the PC Card is connected to the network port, the
installation is complete.
To configure the 3C589C PC Card, go to Chapter 3 if you are
on a Novell NetWare network. If you are on any other
network operating system, go to Chapter 4,
