OPTIONS DESCRIPTION
<pcr><cdvt><scr><mbs>
This command is for
vbrnr
or
vbrrt
class.
Divide the DSL line rate (bps) by 424 (the size of an ATM cell) to find
the Peak Cell Rate (PCR). This is the maximum rate at which the
sender can send cells. The valid range for the PCR is from 360 to
262144.
The valid range for the CDVT(Cell Delay Variation Tolerance) is from
1 to 100.
The Sustain Cell Rate (SCR) sets the average cell rate (long-term)
that can be transmitted. The valid range for the SCR is from 360 and
less than PCR.
Maximum Burst Size (MBS) refers to the maximum number of cells
that can be sent at the peak rate. The valid range for the MBS is from
1 to 100.
An example is shown next.
