Use this screen to configure security for your wireless LAN. The screen varies depending on
what you select in the

Encryption Method

field. Select

Disable

to have no wireless security

configured, select

WEP

, or select

WPA-PSK

if your wireless clients support WPA-PSK.

Select

WPA2-PSK

if your wireless clients support WPA2-PSK Go to

Wireless >

Security

you want to use WPA2, WPA or 802.1x. See

Chapter 6 on page 57

for background

information.

3.3.3.1 Disable

Select

Disable

to have no wireless LAN security configured. If you do not enable any

wireless security on your device, your network is accessible to any wireless networking device
within range.

Note:

With no wireless security a neighbor can access and see traffic in your network.
