Wizard Setup

The web configurator’s setup wizard helps you configure your ZyXEL device for Internet 
access and set up a wireless LAN.

3.1  Wizard Setup Overview

The wizard will guide you through several steps. You will need to enter some information for 
identification purposes, you will then setup your wireless LAN and security. The wizard will 
then guide you through configuring your Internet settings.

3.2  General Setup

General Setup

 contains administrative and system-related information. 

The 

Domain Name

 entry is what is propagated to the DHCP clients on the LAN. If you leave 

this blank, the domain name obtained by DHCP from the ISP is used. While you must enter 
the host name (System Name) on each individual computer, the domain name can be assigned 
from the ZyXEL device via DHCP.
