2 Using the marinating attachment
The use of the marinating attachment is recommended for marinating foods or Sous-Vide cook-
ing. Attach this to the valve inside the bag before sealing the bags. The marinating attachment
facilitates the vacuuming process by delaying the intake of liquid for a short period of time. Once
liquid has reached the marinating attachment, the pump must be stopped manually immediately.

1 Vacuuming bags
The vacuum pump must not take in the liquid (e.g., water, oil, meat juice). If you notice that liquid
is being drawn in towards the pump, interrupt the vacuuming process immediately by pressing
the on/off button on the vacuum pump.
