Operating the hand blender
NOTE:
The hand blender only works if you hold down
a speed button.
6. Move the hand blender slowly within the work-
ing container (Fig. 6) until the liquid is of the
desired consistency. In doing so, make sure that
the blade head is always covered with liquid
and that the gap between the blender attach-
ment and the drive unit remains a few centime-
tres above the liquid.
NOTE:
If the blending result is not of the desired con-
sistency, the food pieces may be too large. Chop
such pieces up prior to puréeing.
7. Let go of the speed button and wait a few
seconds.
8. Take the hand blender out of the working
container.
CAUTION!
Property damage due to overheating!
The appliance is equipped with a protective
function that switches off the motor in the event
of imminent overheating.

In order to avoid overheating, do not use the
appliance for more than 30 seconds.
ƒ
Let the appliance cool down for at least
10 minutes before further use.
ƒ
In the event of automatic shutdown due to
overheating, unplug the power plug from the
socket.
ƒ
If heat or odours develop, switch off the appli-
ance immediately and unplug the power plug
from the socket.
