Troubleshooting (detector)
Fault
Cause/repair
Electric load does not
- Twilight value set too high switch:
- Check the light's lamp
- Check positioning of the manual switch
- Check mains power supply/fuse
Switches on and off - Check coverage area for something causing the
without reason or does not
fault: drafts, animals, heating, switch off
again: etc. can all cause an error to
occur!
- Range too high, adjust the range using
the Tilt (L/R) controller and/or cover the
area of the lens causing the fault with
adhesive tape. Set the sensitivity to
medium or low.
- Check distance to the light (heat
reflections or direct effects of the light)
- For current transformers, relays and
electronic ballast OR for several parallel
detectors, connect the RC element in
parallel to the connected load.
Switches during power switch - Install a varistor between
pulses:
the phase and neutral conductor.
Light switches off
Set the Time 1 potentiometer
despite someone
(time delay) to a higher
being in the coverage area: value
Switches on during the day: Twilight value is set too high
(set the lux potentiometer on the moon
settings)
Please note:
When the Twilight value
changes, the electronic system requires
approx. 1 minute before the newly
selected value is active!
Following connection to the power supply:
The electronic system requires approx. one to two minutes before
