2.1
Full wire-speed forwarding
The switching system of ZXR10 2600 series adopts the bus architecture. The switching
capacity of the 2609, 2609-LE/2609-FU backplane is 6.4 Gbps. The full wire speed layer
2 forwarding capability provides 100% throughput, zero packet loss ratio and low delay
to provide high performance user accesses.
2.2
Good security performance
ZXR10 2600 series switches have good security policies. They support broadcast storm
suppression, support 1x authentication, port separation, and IEEE802.1Q. They can
divide VLAN based on port or MAC addresses and supports port-based VLAN. They
support user hierarchical management and password protection. they support DHCP
Snooping, VBAS, and CPU protection mechanism.
High strength thunder-proof capability: ZXR10 2600 series switches are Richer 8
earthquake resistant. They can run normally in terrible environment.
2.3
Rate limit for ports of different categories
ZXR10 2600-EI series L2 Ethernet switches have rate limit for ports of different
categories. Highly efficient multiple leaky bucket algorithm is adopted. Unicast uses one
leaky bucket and other traffic flows use the other leaky bucket. Each leaky bucket uses
different bandwidth. Controlling policy is quite complete. Unknown unicast and MAC
controlling frame can be restricted besides ordinary broadcast, multicast and unicast. On
one hand, it can protect user bandwidth against appropriation and on the other hand, it
can effectively control network viruses which may cause invalid broadcast traffic.
2.4
Dynamic binding
ZXR10 2600 series switches support particular MAC/PORT dynamic binding. Combining
with IEEE802.1x authentication, dynamic binding is accessed to MAC address, which is
especially suitable for laptop access environment. They support users’ transferring and
switching between switch ports without manual interference to reduce network
maintenance workload.

Port mirroring
Supporting port mirroring: Being able to monitor particular port. ZXR10 2600 series
switches can monitor ingression and engrossing flow at other ports via data capturing
port. They can also set source/destination MAC address of ingression and engrossing
