What is the Handset Security Code?

The Handset Security code is stored on the handset and protects against unwanted use. If the handset
is lost or stolen it cannot be switched on without the handset security code. This provides a greater level
of protection than the PIN code which protects the USIM card only. The default code is 0000 but you can
change this if required.

•  If you enter the PIN number incorrectly three times the phone will be PUK locked.

•  PIN2 Code is an additional PIN on the USIM card and is not generally supported.
