Connect to a Bluetooth headset or other accessories
You can connect your device to Bluetooth-enabled accessories such as headset, stereo
headsets etc. You can create the connection by establishing a Bluetooth partnership
between your device and the Bluetooth accessory.
1. Turn on your device and the headset or other accessory and then position them
within several feet of one another.
2. Set the headset or the other accessory to
Visible
so that your device can detect it
and establish a connection. You can find instructions on how to set the accessory to
Visible
in the manufacturer’s manual.
3. On your device, tap
>Settings>Connections
tab
>Bluetooth
.
4. Tap
Devices
tab, and tap
Add new device
to search for the headset.
5. Tap the name of the Bluetooth headset, and then tap
Next
.
6. Enter the passcode of the Bluetooth headset.
7. Make sure that
Hands Free
check box is selected.
8. Tap
Finish
.
Notes:
•
The Bluetooth headset needs to have the Hands Free function.
•
If the device has created Bluetooth partnerships with several Bluetooth headsets, it
will use the last one.
