Chapter 3 External Cables
Note:
1. End A is a 7–core (big hole + small hole ... small hole + big
hole) D-type connector where the connecting lines in small
holes can be unsed. This end is connected to the BBU power
input terminal.
2. End B1 comprises 2.5mm 2 black insulating wires that are con-
nected to the power supply output terminal.

Serial Port Monitoring Cable
from Power Subrack to
Baseband Subrack
The serial port monitoring cable between the power subrack and
baseband subrack is an RS232/RS485 serial port communication
cable, transmitting RS232/RS485 signals and monitoring working
status of power device.
The serial port monitoring cable is a balanced twist pair.
Figure 42 shows the structure of the serial port monitoring cable
between power subrack and baseband subrack.
