C88 User Manual

Settings

There are several options associated with your text and multimedia messages. This menu
allows you to customize the options to fit your preferences. From standby mode, select

Menu

→

Messaging

→

Settings

to access the settings menu. The following options are

available.

Message Settings

SaveTo Sent Box

: Set whether messages are saved to the Sent folder.

Prompt: Prompt you to save a copy of the outgoing message.

Do Not Save: Sent messages are not saved in the Sent box.

Auto Save: Sent messages are automatically stored in the Sent box.

Auto Delete Inbox:

If new message comes, it will automatically delete the oldest

message when the inbox is full.

On: Automatically delete messages.

Off: Do not automatically delete the messages.

Default Entry Mode:

Set the default entry mode.

Word: Text entry with a predictive dictionary.

abc: Each lowercase character is typed individually.

ABC: Each uppercase character is typed individually.

123: Number entry mode.
