Basic Operations
Making Voice Calls
Note:
Your phone has an internal antenna. It’s on the bottom of the phone. Do not touch
the area around the antenna unnecessarily when the phone is powered on. It may affect
call quality and power consumption.
Using the Keypad
1.
Enter a phone number including the full area code by using the numeric keypad. If an
incorrect character is entered, use the
Back
key to delete it. Pressing the
Back
key
for a while will erase all characters before the cursor.
2. Press
the
Send
key to make the voice call.
Note:
To make an emergency call, enter the emergency number and press the
Send
key.
If possible, remain stationary and keep the line connected.
Using the Contact List
You can also make a call by choosing a record from your Contacts. To place a call from
the contact list:
1. Press
Contacts
in standby mode to display your contact list.
2.
Scroll to the desired entry and press the
Send
key to make a call.
3. Press
the
End
key to end the call, or to cancel the call attempt.
