Type the following letters, the X5’s default User Name and
Password.

Remember: The User Name and Password letters are case-
sensitive.

If the Network Password box doesn’t display, perform
the following in this order:

The Basic Setup page displays. You are now communicating
with your X5. This page provides details about your Internet
connection and includes information that the X5 uses to
automatically connect to your service provider.

Check that the VPI, VCI, and Encapsulation settings
match those supplied by your service provider. (Refer to
the table on page 5 if necessary or consult your provider.)
