V. 03.12
3. CONFIGURATION:
The number of zones controlled by the board and the type of program carried out for the system must be
configured through the switches of the control panel. When any of the switches is modified, the control panel must be restarted to load
the new configuration.
3.1. Selecting No. of zones:
This must be configured
in all cases
where the number of zones
if different to 4 (default). From 2 to 6 zones can be selected. With a screwdriwer rotate the
rotary switch and select the desired number of zones.
3.2. Selecting the program:
Only configure when operating with a different program from zoning installation (default). Using the Sw1
switch, placed in the right-upper part of the control panel, they could be activated different software programs of the zoning system in
function of the type of installation.
3.2.1. Zoning Installation without interface (default):
Wiring de AHU to the control board. The changeover between
heating and cooling must be made even in the MASTER thermostat of the Zoning System and in the AHU thermostat.
Place the Sw1 of the control board as follows:
3.2.2. Zoning Installation with interface (default):
The AHU and the control panel is wired using an interface. The
changeover between heating/cooling is made directly in the MASTER thermostat. Automatic fan adjustment and inverter
optimisation of the machine depending on the opened zones. Place the Sw1 as follows:
3.2.3. Sub-zone installation:
Without wiring de AHU to the control board. The sound temperature
it’s installed in the
supply duct and automatically detects the working mode of the AHU (heating/cooling). Place the Sw1 of the control
board as follows:
3.2.4. Zoning installation. Pulse activation:
It works as the previous point but in that case the ON/OFF relay it works
as a pulse despite of working as a free-voltage contact. Only activate in the case of AHU which needs a pulse to be
activated (Ask to MADEL with the brand and model of the equipment used). Place the Sw1 as follows:
3.3. Reception frequency:
The KSP central works in the ISM frequency band and allows selecting 2 different working frequencies into
this band (433 y 434 MHz). For default, the control panel and the thermostats are selected at 434 MHz, in the case of interferences or
malfunction of the radio communications; it is possible to switch the frequency to 433 MHz using the Sw1.
CAREFUL!: The modification of the frequency can cause the malfunction of the whole system, before doing any modification please check that all the
system is correctly installed and configured. In the case of changing the frequency to 433 MHz it is necessary to modify the thermostats too. (Enter to
set-up mode with menu/set / - buttons and select Fr:00 parameter).
4. THERMOSTAT CONFIGURATION
4.1. Positioning thermostats:
Distribute the thermostats in a significant place in each of the zones to be air
conditioned. Place at a height of approximately 1.5 m, avoiding direct sources of heat and undesired
draughts. Avoid placing them close to metal items.
4.2. Programming thermostats:
Each thermostat must be allocated to the control panel and with the
motorised regulation of the zone it controls (outputs 1 to 6 on the board) following the steps below:
NOTE: The first time batteries are inserted, the configuration menu is directly accessed. Where configuration is not automatically accessed or where it is to be modified,
enter SETUP mode (with the thermostat on) by pressing the combination of buttons shown in the figure. Then follow the same steps 1 to 4 as in the previous figure.
1. Enter SET-UP mode
2. Select mode Cron / C-SP
Cron : Activate weekly programming
C-SP: Without weekly programming
3. Insert ID number
See ID nubmer in the lable of the control pane
4. Select zone number
