Operations: (i) shockable rhythm detection
(ii) advanced pediatric CPR (10 cycles of 15:2 ratio)

press the shock button **
shock delivered
it is safe to touch the patient
begin cardiopulmonary resuscitation, now
advanced pediatric CPR
make 10 cycles of 15 chest compressions followed by 2 breaths
press patient's chest down fast
(metronome – 15 beeps)
give two breaths
breath
(1sec mute) breath
** if the shock button is not pressed within 10-12 seconds the unit will pass to CPR step along with the
voice message “
shock cancelled - shock button not pressed ”.
