4.2 Electric connections
• the electrical supply of the heater must come from a protection and switching device (not supplied)
complying with the standards and regulations in force in the country where it is installed (in France,
refer to standard NF C 15100). The Red Line from 3 to 9 kW may be supplied by single-phase
(230V/1N/50Hz) with a shunt (on terminals R-S-T) and a shunt (on terminals C-N), or in three-phase
(400 V / 3 N / 50 Hz), without shunt. The 12 kW Red Line
must
be supplied with three-phase current
(400 V / 3N / 50 Hz).
WARNING! The appliance shall be connected to ground.
Comments:
all the appliances 3, 6 and 9 kW are already cabled to be fed in single phase (except for the 12 kW
necessarily three phase). To shift to three phase connection, remove the sticker from the terminal, remove the
shunt, finally reverse the sticker 180° as regards its original position.
•
supply cable section: this section is recommended for cables of a maximum length of 20 metres,
with a calculation base of 5A/mm². It must be checked and adapted if necessary, depending on
installation conditions:
