CHECK

1 GENERAL

Inspection of the rapid water heater must be done to guarantee proper and safe functioning of the
rapid water heater.
Inspections may be carried out by authorised personnel only.

A. Prior to installation inspection.

Any of the below mentioned deviations are reasons for rejection or repair.
(1) Inspect all parts of the unit for mechanical damage, dents etc.
(2) Inspect all hardware having threaded or tapped parts for crossed or damaged threads.

Reject screws, etc. if thread damage exceeds 50% of one thread.

(3)  Inspect the unit for leakage.
(4)  Inspect the unit for corrosion.
(5)  Inspect the entire electrical installation for signs of burn on electrical connector pins and

lugs, on connections and insulation, and for cuts, abrasions and corrosion.

B. Prior to use inspection.

(1) Inspect the unit for cleanliness. Clean where necessary.

C. Interval

inspection.

(1) Perform the temperature setting test every 12 months.

2 ELECTRICAL

CHECK

For electrical check see chapter TESTING of this manual.

A. After each repair the temperature must be tested and where necessary re-adjusted.
