The field of view (distance-
to-spot) is the area where
temperature is being measured via
infrared.
The distance you hold Scancase
away from the product determines
the dimensions of this area.
The further away from the product,
the larger the area being measured.
The laser helps indicate where
Scancase is measuring.
Hold Scancase about 6” away
from the item you want to measure
for accurate temperatures.
