Fuel tank cap filter
Unscrew the fuel tank cap (1) from the fuel tank (3).
Remove fuel tank cap filter (2) and clean with a mild
detergent.
If the fuel tank cap filter (2) is damaged, it must be
replaced.
Reinstall the fuel tank cap filter (2).
Screw the fuel tank cap (1) back on tightly.

Fuel filter
1.
Ensure that the machine is switched off and has cooled
down.
2.
Ensure that the fuel tap is set in the "OFF" position.
3.
Loosen the screws (1) and remove the side cover (2).
4.
Use pliers to loosen the clips (4) above and below the
fuel filter (3).
5.
Remove and replace the fuel filter (3).
6.
Insert the new fuel filter (3).
7.
Re-clamp the clips (4) above and below the fuel filter
(3).
8.
Reinstall the side cover and secure it with screws.

STORAGE
Storage period up to 1 month:
No special preparation is required.
Storage period longer than 1 month:
Drain the fuel from the fuel tank.
Drain the carburettor.
Remove the spark plug and pour approximately one tablespoon full of clean engine oil
into the spark plug hole.
With the engine off, pull the recoil starter handle several times.
Reinstall the spark plug and pull on the recoil starter handle until the piston is on the
compression stroke (when resistance is felt) then stop pulling.
Store the machine in a dry, well-ventilated and clean place out of the reach of children.
