This system, used in conjunction with the above-mentioned filter cartridge, has been tested according to NSF/ANSI 

42 and NSF/ANSI 53 for reduction of the substances listed below.

R&T according to NSF/ANSI 42 and NSF/ANSI 53 for reduction of the substances listed below as verified and 

substantiated by test data.

The concentration of the indicated substances in water entering the system was reduced to a concentration less 

than or equal to the permissible limit for water leaving the system as specified in NSF/ANSI 42 and NSF/ANSI 53.

Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before 

or after the system. The term ‘bacteriostatic’ means that the system limits the passage or growth of bacteria that 

may already exist in the incoming water. It does not mean that the water leaving the system is safer to drink than 

the water entering the system.

Systems certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected waters that may contain filterable cysts.
